Our Return & Exchange Policy

Your satisfaction with your order is our number one priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, and we know how frustrating it can be when something you have waited for doesn't fit correctly or you didn't get what you expected. So, our return & exchange policy is easy, hassle free and simple so you can shop with confidence.

Easy Steps to Return or Exchange an Item Your Purchased:

  1. 1.) First, please email us at support@skatesemporium.com and let us know that you want to return / exchange your skates.
  2. 2.) We will email you back with the full return address for your skates.  We have multiple distribution centers, so a return / exchange is different depending on what you ordered.
  3. 3.) Once we receive your skates, we will then either refund your credit card / Paypal account or send you out a replacement item in exchange.

Our Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order to us for a full refund anytime within 30 days of purchase. Returns must be in the original state you received them and in the original packaging. The one exception is if you ordered a pair of custom skates - where we made a special pair of skates for you. In these custom skate cases, we cannot accept returns.

The 30-day return policy is good on new, unused skates, parts, and accessories in our store. Therefore, we suggest that when you receive your package, you carefully unpack your skates and keep the box intact. Then, try on your skates indoors and ensure that everything is working correctly and that the skates fit. This will ensure that the items and the box stays in good condition in case you must return them.

There also is a 20% restocking fee on all returned merchandise. Some custom built skates will also be subject to a dismount fee. Again, custom built skates - where we built the skate for you - are not eligible for return. You, the customer, are also responsible for all return shipping charges of the items. If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will replace or repair the item for you and will cover all shipping charges.

Our Exchange Policy

Exchanges are similar to returns. You must exchange your order within 30 days of purchase. We will allow you to exchange all new, unused skates, parts, and accessories as long as it is in the original packaging. Therefore, we suggest that when you receive your package, you carefully unpack your skates and keep the box intact. Then, try on your skates indoors and ensure that everything is working correctly and that the skates fit. This will ensure that the items and the box stays in good condition in case you must return them. Again, no exchanges are allowed on custom skates that we built for you.

2 Ways to Exchange:

Fast: If you would like your replacement order faster, it's best to place another new order with us and then ship to us the original, returned item(s) that did not work for you. Once we receive the returned item(s), we will refund you the full price of the returned item(s). This is a great way to get the correct item(s) to you quickly so you don't have to wait for us to receive your returned items before we ship out the new items.

Normal: Send the original item(s) back to us, and once we receive the item(s), we will ship out the replacement items. We do charge again to re-ship your items.
